The role

Our design team works across several businesses within the AIM Technologies group, supporting a diverse mix of brands, products and markets. This keeps the role varied, interesting and creatively rewarding, with projects spanning technology, motorsport and emerging innovations.

At AIM Technologies, we develop high-performance hardware and software used by racing teams and motorsport professionals around the world. Design plays an important role in how we present our products, communicate technical information and grow our brands.

You will enjoy the variety of an agency-style role while being part of an in-house team, seeing your ideas develop from initial concept through to launch.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, creative Senior Graphic Designer who can take ownership of projects and deliver outstanding work across websites, print, digital media and social marketing.

One day you could be designing a product booklet or website layout; the next, developing a brand identity, social campaign or exhibition graphics for another business within the group.

You should be highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, confident working independently and comfortable bringing your own ideas to a brief. We want someone who embraces AI tools to explore ideas, improve workflows and accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of originality, accuracy and finish.

We would also like you to have an interest in 3D design and product visualisation. Existing experience is welcome, but not essential. We can provide internal training and support—the key is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative ownership: Take projects from brief and concept development through to finished artwork, managing quality, consistency and deadlines.
  • Design across the group: Work across several businesses, adapting your creative approach to different brands, audiences and markets while maintaining each brand’s identity.
  • Website design: Create engaging website layouts, landing pages, product graphics and digital assets, working with developers to deliver effective desktop and mobile experiences.
  • Print and publications: Design brochures, booklets, product catalogues, adverts, exhibition graphics and signage, preparing accurate, print-ready artwork.
  • PDFs and presentations: Produce polished digital brochures, downloadable PDFs, sales presentations and technical documents with clear layouts and strong visual storytelling.
  • Social media and marketing: Develop campaign concepts and assets for social media, email marketing and digital advertising, adapting designs across formats and platforms.
  • Brand development: Help develop and strengthen our brands, creating guidelines and reusable templates that keep our communications consistent.
  • Technical communication: Turn complex product features and engineering information into clear illustrations, diagrams and infographics.
  • AI-assisted design: Use appropriate AI tools to support creative exploration and production, checking outputs carefully and respecting confidentiality and usage rights.
  • 3D development: Learn or build on your skills in 3D design, product visualisation and rendering, supported by our internal team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, product and engineering colleagues, explaining creative decisions and responding constructively to feedback.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

  • A strong professional design background, typically five or more years’ experience, or a portfolio demonstrating equivalent senior-level ability.
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Cloud skills, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating digital and print work, with excellent typography, layout, colour and attention to detail.
  • Experience designing multipage documents, brochures, booklets and professional PDFs.
  • Confidence designing website layouts and digital marketing assets, with an understanding of responsive design and usability.
  • Strong knowledge of print preparation, including bleed, colour profiles, resolution and artwork checking.
  • A positive, practical approach to AI and a willingness to explore tools that improve creative quality and efficiency.
  • An interest in learning or developing 3D design and product visualisation skills.
  • The ability to manage several projects across different brands, prioritise deadlines and deliver with minimal supervision.
  • Confidence interpreting briefs, asking useful questions and presenting your own creative ideas.

Desirable

  • Experience with Figma or similar interface design tools.
  • Motion graphics, animation or video editing skills using After Effects or Premiere Pro.
  • Experience with Blender, Cinema 4D, Adobe Substance 3D or similar software.
  • Experience producing product renders or working with CAD models.
  • Previous agency experience or experience supporting multiple brands.
  • An interest in motorsport, automotive technology, electronics or engineering.

What We Offer

  • A varied senior creative role working across several businesses, brands and markets.
  • Ownership of projects and the opportunity to influence our visual direction.
  • The variety of agency-style work within a collaborative in-house team.
  • Internal training and support to develop your 3D skills.
  • The opportunity to explore AI and new creative tools as part of your everyday work.
  • Close collaboration with the people who design, engineer and market our products.
  • The opportunity to see your work used across digital platforms, printed materials, products and events.
