The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Digital Designer & Client Lead who combines exceptional design skills with strong client relationship management and a commercial mindset.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced designer who enjoys working directly with clients, developing creative concepts, pitching ideas and identifying new business opportunities.

You’ll be our creative and client-facing presence in Dallas, supported by our talented international design teams.

We’re looking for someone who can think creatively, communicate confidently and take ownership of projects from the initial conversation through to final delivery.

Importantly, you must come from a hands-on digital design background. We want someone who understands the craft, can confidently direct creative work and isn’t afraid to jump into the design process when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

Creative Leadership & Design

• Lead creative concepts and digital design projects across web, UX/UI, campaigns and visual communications.
• Develop and present creative ideas, concepts and pitches directly to clients.
• Provide creative direction and oversee work produced by our Melbourne and European design teams.
• Remain hands-on with design when required, particularly during concept development and pitching.
• Maintain exceptional creative standards across all deliverables.

Client Relationships & Business Growth

• Build and manage strong relationships with our US-based clients.
• Act as a trusted creative partner, understanding client challenges and identifying opportunities.
• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Lead creative pitches, presentations and proposals to secure new projects.
• Help grow Charles Elena’s client base and presence in the US market.
• Work closely with agency leadership on account growth and business development.

Project & Team Management

• Manage projects from briefing through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality expectations are met.
• Translate client requirements into clear creative briefs for our international teams.
• Coordinate internal designers, developers and freelancers.
• Manage client feedback, project scope and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with our global creative and leadership teams.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• 7+ years of professional digital design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional digital, web and UX/UI design.
• Proven experience working directly with clients and presenting creative work.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint.
• Experience managing creative projects, budgets and timelines.
• Confidence directing other designers and providing constructive creative feedback.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach to identifying opportunities and growing accounts.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with international teams.

Highly Desirable

• Previous experience in a creative or digital agency.
• Experience pitching and winning new business.
• Existing professional relationships within the Dallas business or technology community.
• Experience working with enterprise technology clients.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and their application to creative workflows.
• Experience working with distributed or international creative teams.

Location & Working Arrangements

This is a four day a week, fully remote position based in Dallas, Texas.

Candidates must reside in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and be available for in-person client meetings, presentations and networking opportunities as required.

You’ll work closely with our international creative teams, so some flexibility for occasional meetings outside standard US business hours will be necessary.
