About the Role

Location: Shanghai, China, or Fully Remote.

You will work closely with our teams in Shanghai and London, collaborating across locations and time zones to support our international operations and achieve shared business goals.

We are looking for a creative, reliable and detail-oriented Freelance Graphic Designer to support our team across exhibitions, events, marketing campaigns and internal communications.

You will work across a mix of digital and physical design projects, from exhibition graphics and social media content to presentations, print materials and video. We are also looking for someone who is comfortable using AI-powered creative tools to accelerate ideation, visual exploration and content production.

This is a freelance role suited to someone who can work independently, manage multiple briefs and deliver high-quality creative work within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and adapt visual assets for exhibitions and events, including press kits, banners, invitations, posters, booth graphics, signage and presentation templates
• Create engaging visual content for social media and digital marketing channels, adapting creative assets across different formats and platforms
• Support the development and application of wayfinding, signage and functional graphics for on-site environments
• Leverage AI-powered creative tools for ideation, moodboarding, image generation, and the development and editing of creative video content for social media and other digital channels.Integrate AI into the creative workflow where appropriate to improve speed and efficiency without compromising design quality or brand consistency
• Resize, adapt and version creative assets for different digital, print and event applications
• Organise and manage photography, video and other creative assets following exhibitions and events
• Support additional marketing, event and internal communication design requirements on a project basis

What We’re Looking For

• A background in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related creative discipline
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition and visual hierarchy
• Experience designing across both digital and print formats
• Familiarity with generative AI and AI-powered creative tools, with the ability to integrate them into day-to-day creative workflows
• Experience with tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar image and content generation tools is a plus
• Ability to use AI for creative ideation, visual exploration and faster iteration, while maintaining strong independent design judgement
• Basic video editing or motion design skills are highly desirable
• Able to work independently, respond to feedback and manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Fluent spoken English and strong written communication skills in Chinese
• Curious about emerging design trends, creative technologies and AI tools

Nice to Have

• Experience working on exhibitions, conferences, events or experiential marketing
• Experience producing large-format graphics, exhibition signage or booth artwork
• Experience creating visual content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms
• Experience with short-form video, motion graphics or event video content
• A portfolio demonstrating a strong combination of brand, digital, print and event-related design work

Freelance Working Style

We’re looking for someone who can quickly understand a brief, propose effective visual solutions and take projects through to final delivery with minimal supervision.

Depending on project requirements, assignments may range from quick-turnaround adaptations and artwork production to larger exhibition and campaign design projects.

主要职责

• 负责展会及活动相关视觉物料的设计与延展，包括媒体包、横幅、邀请函、海报、展位图、现场导视、功能标识及 PPT 模板等
• 负责社交媒体及数字营销渠道的视觉内容设计，并根据不同平台和尺寸要求完成素材适配
• 支持展会及活动现场的导视系统、标识系统和功能板块的视觉设计与应用
• 运用 AI 辅助创意工具进行创意发散、Moodboard、图片生成、以及社交媒体等内容的视频创意及剪辑
• 在适合的设计环节中融入 AI 工作流，提高创意探索及制作效率，同时确保最终作品的设计品质及品牌一致性
• 根据不同线上、线下及活动场景，对设计素材进行尺寸调整、版本延展及格式适配
• 根据项目需求，支持其他市场营销、活动及公司内部传播相关设计工作

任职要求

• 平面设计、视觉传达或其他相关设计专业背景
• 熟练使用 Adobe Creative Suite，尤其是 Illustrator、Photoshop 和 InDesign
• 能够使用 AI 进行创意构思、视觉剪辑、素材辅助生成及快速迭代，同时具备独立的审美能力和设计判断
• 具备扎实的设计基本功，对字体、排版、色彩、构图及视觉层级有良好理解
• 具备线上及线下设计经验，能够处理数字媒体及印刷类设计项目
• 英语口语流利，中文书面沟通能力良好
• 工作主动、有条理，能够与内部团队及外部供应商高效协作
• 对新兴设计趋势、AI 创意工具及创意科技保持敏感度和学习热情
