About us
East at Home is a fast-growing UK food brand making award-winning curry sauces, spice kits and sides that bring the curry-house experience home. We manufacture our products in Greater Manchester and sell mainly through our Shopify website.
We're looking for a creative, hands-on designer to turn our existing footage and product photography into engaging advertising and marketing content that helps drive sales.
The role
You'll work closely with our e-commerce team and content producer, who supplies the footage and photography. Your focus will be on editing, designing and developing creative ideas rather than filming.
You'll be responsible for
- Paid social ads: Edit short-form video ads and create static images and carousels for Meta (Facebook and Instagram), producing around 10–15 ad variations per week.
- Creative testing: Develop new hooks, concepts, edits and variations based on advertising performance.
- Digital design: Create website banners, email graphics, landing-page designs and other promotional assets.
- Print design: Produce leaflets, product inserts, point-of-sale materials and updates to existing print artwork.
- AI and creative tools: Use AI and modern design tools to develop ideas, speed up production and test different creative approaches.
About you
- Strong graphic design skills and a good eye for engaging, effective advertising.
- Confident editing short-form videos using supplied footage.
- Experience creating Meta ad creatives, ideally for an e-commerce brand.
- Comfortable with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, CapCut or similar tools.
- Able to work independently, manage deadlines and bring fresh ideas.
- Experience preparing artwork for professional printing.
Nice to have
- Experience with web design, landing pages and UX/UI principles.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Figma or website page builders.
- Experience in food, drink or consumer brands.
Why join us?
- Work with an award-winning, growing UK food brand.
- See how your creative performs and use real results to shape future work.
- Work across paid advertising, websites, email and print.
- Have the freedom to bring your own ideas and influence our creative direction.
To apply: Send your CV and portfolio, including examples of static advertising designs and short-form videos you've personally created.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a short paid creative task.
