Visual Designer
The role
About Working at Trava
Trava Health began with a simple goal: make high-quality care more affordable and accessible. Early on, our focus was on delivering strong products at a better price point, but we quickly evolved. When face-to-face with customer feedback—especially negative experiences—our leadership stepped in to resolve issues one by one, setting a higher standard for how we care for patients.
That mindset became embedded in our culture. Today, patient experience drives our decisions at every level, and we demonstrate it through responsiveness, accountability, and a willingness to go above and beyond to earn long-term trust.
As a Visual Designer at Trava, you will join a fast-paced environment where speed matters, but never at the expense of quality. Design is a core driver of our growth, operating at the intersection of product, marketing, and strategy. You will join a collaborative team where design decisions directly influence conversion, engagement, and overall business performance.
What You’ll Do
- Design Paid & Performance Creative: Conceptualize, iterate, and refine high-converting visual assets for paid media (e.g., Meta ads) and marketing initiatives.
- Shape Website & Digital Touchpoints: Design strategic, responsive web pages and components grounded in user insights, continuous A/B testing, and performance metrics.
- Evolve Brand & Visual Systems: Apply and expand our brand guidelines across customer touchpoints, email campaigns, and marketing channels to build cohesive visual storytelling.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with copywriters, product teams, and developers to ensure design concepts are scalable, feasible, and built to high fidelity.
- Solve Creative Challenges & Adapt: Bridge strategic vision with creative execution, taking rough or unconventional ideas and turning them into polished, compelling visual solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience & Training: 2+ years of design experience paired with a degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Fine Art, Architecture, or equivalent hands-on visual execution expertise.
- Strong Visual Craft & Principles: Deep understanding of composition, color theory (such as contrast and ratio balance), layout, negative space, and visual hierarchy.
- Core Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma and working knowledge of Framer. Familiarity with illustration, digital media formats, or design system construction is a strong plus.
- Objective Design Communication: Ability to articulate and critique design decisions clearly, welcome constructive feedback, and collaborate ego-free.
- Agility & Ownership: High iteration speed without perfection paralysis—comfortable taking initiative, testing, learning, and supporting teammates across ad-hoc design needs.
- Work Status: Must be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the furture.
