Visual Designer Intern (Branding, Packaging & Production)

CWAD is a creative boutique for visual communication: branding, packaging, film, photography, and spaces. If people can see it, we have probably designed it, shot it, or argued about it. We own our production gear, so ideas don't wait for a vendor. Our founder came up through BBDO Berlin, Ogilvy Tokyo, and Cheil Germany. We kept the standards and dropped the bureaucracy.

What we are working on

• Film and visual content for a global consumer electronics brand
• Integrated brand identity for a major new museum complex in Incheon
• Brand identity and packaging for an upcoming beauty brand in color contact lenses
• Branding, signage, and spatial identity for a new project at a design park

What you will do

Ask questions. Then ask better ones. When something breaks, want to fix it before anyone tells you to. That is the job. The rest is detail:

• Build brand identity systems, from first sketch to final guidelines
• Design packaging that survives the shelf, not just the screen
• Join our film and photo shoots, including model shoots with our in-house equipment
• Take designs all the way into production: print, signage, spaces, and film
• Shape pitch decks that win rooms
• Work side by side with the creative director on live client projects

Who we are looking for

• A portfolio that makes us a little jealous. Not perfect, just unmistakably yours.
• Someone who knows a design isn't finished until it is printed, built, or shot, or who is dying to find out
• A recent graduate of a Korean university or graduate school in design or a related field
• Fluent in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; Figma, motion, and photography are a plus
• Professional working English. Korean and Japanese are a plus.

Visa support

Recent graduates holding a D-10 visa are welcome. We provide the contract and support the internship permission process. F-2, F-5, and F-6 holders are also welcome.
