Senior Art Director

Lee Tilford Agency is looking for an experienced Senior Art Director with a strong design sensibility, an exceptional eye for detail, and the skills to turn ideas into finished advertising.

You’ll develop concepts and personally execute the work—from the initial layout through final production.

What You’ll Do

• Concept and design advertising across digital, social, print, outdoor, direct mail, and in-store materials.
• Bring strong typography, layout, imagery, and visual hierarchy to every assignment.
• Handle image editing, retouching, revisions, resizing, and final production files.
• Collaborate with copywriters, account teams, and our web and video teams.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality, accuracy, and deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of advertising design and art direction experience, preferably in an agency.
• A portfolio demonstrating compelling advertising, polished execution, and versatility across brands.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong print and digital production skills, including preparing accurate files to specifications.
• The ability to develop thoughtful work from limited initial direction and respond constructively to feedback.
• Retail and consumer advertising experience is strongly preferred.

Experience with Figma, motion graphics, photography direction, and AI-assisted creative tools is a plus.

Portfolio Requirements

Show us your strongest commercial advertising and branded campaign work for agencies or established brands. Spec advertising and original brand campaigns are welcome.

We want to see strong concepts and finished ads that demonstrate your design and production abilities. Clearly identify your personal contribution to each project, including what you concepted, designed, and executed.

Location & Schedule

This position is based primarily at our studio in Dripping Springs, Texas.

• Monday–Thursday: On-site, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Central Time.
• Friday: Work from home unless a shoot or production requires otherwise.

All necessary computer equipment will be provided.
