Who you are

You are a deeply experienced, opinionated Presentation Designer with high taste in creating state of the art brand kits, pitch decks, and presentations. You are professionally trained in Brand & Identity Design (or similar) and have a track record of building world class pitches, slides, and presentations.

You have mastery across a range of presentation design styles and true craft in communications design, including infographics, imagery, and branding. You have hands-on experience taking creative ideas from concept to paper and shaping them into clear creative briefs. You consider yourself an analytical storyteller, both through your creative output and through your briefs, creative direction, and instruction.

What you'll do

• Craft world class slides natively in PowerPoint or Figma, from scratch
• Review existing slides, critique them, and figure out how to make them better
• Write creative briefs that guide AI models to generate new presentations and documents, then critique the output across multiple design iterations

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional presentation design experience
• True subject matter expertise in brand, including presentation design
• Deep attention to detail, a high bar for quality, and a strong grasp of the technical side of PowerPoint design
• Experience giving structured design feedback and critique (creative direction, design reviews)
• Experience structuring design briefs
• Strategic thinking around communication, visual storytelling, and making complex content digestible

Our process

1. Apply to our community (takes less than 5 minutes)
2. If approved, you'll be invited to apply for projects we're actively staffing, including presentation design and document design
3. A successful assessment leads to an offer to join an active project, followed by onboarding (MFA, SOW, background check) and project onboarding
4. You become an official member of the community, with access to events, a network of creative technologists, other perks, and eligibility for additional paid projects

All TasteMakers projects are remote, work from anywhere, and paid hourly as an independent contractor. We hire globally and pay competitive rates in USD.
