Junior Graphic Designer

Company Description Craftis Ltd is a Certified B Corporation™ that specialises in creating engaging family dining experiences through innovative, environmentally responsible products for children.

Role Description: The Junior Graphic Designer role is 4 days (30hours), on-site, based in Towcester.

Create fun and engaging party bags, grab-and-go items, tabletop activities, products, and packaging for the UK’s leading supplier of children’s activity packs

Amend artwork as per customer/internal feedback

Produce original designs to a high standard

Have a fantastic imagination to create engaging children's puzzles and characters

Ability to work methodically to meet deadlines

Work within client, budget, colour palette, and brand guideline constraints

Work on new innovative product ideas

Study design briefs and determine requirements

Work closely with the design and sales teams on client briefs

Prepare print-ready artwork and place orders with our factories in both the UK and China

Work quickly while remaining precise and meticulous

Conceptualize visuals for key meetings

A thirst for learning and self-improvement, constantly seeking better ways of working

Qualifications

Proven graphic design experience (Portfolio of work)

Strong freehand drawing is essential for creating fun children's characters when required

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with a strong emphasis on Illustrator (Photoshop and InDesign skills will also be beneficial)

Experience in preparing artwork for factory production (But not essential)

Digital experience - preparing e-shots, website imagery, and social media posts is preferred but not essential

A keen eye for detail and creative awareness

Good colour and design awareness

Imaginative content that resonates with children's products

Strong attention to detail, ability to follow brand guidelines, and willingness to learn from feedback in a collaborative studio environment.

Knowledge of children's party products and how children use them

A degree in Design/Graphic Design or a related field
