Position Overview

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer with experience in the film, television, or digital media industry to support motion and static visual content creation for various productions. This role involves collaborating with producers, editors, and directors to design graphics that elevate storytelling, enhance branding, and support post-production across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for design, a deep understanding of motion and broadcast graphics, and the ability to work in fast-paced production environments. The ideal candidate also has experience and familiarity with typical broadcast and network deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create motion and static graphics for film, television, and digital content (including lower thirds, titles, title pages, transitions, logo animations, infographics, and branding packages)
  • Collaborate with producers, editors, and directors to interpret creative briefs and bring visual ideas to life
  • Design on-brand assets for clients and internal studio use
  • Contribute to the visual identity of each production through strong design principles and storytelling alignment
  • Prepare graphics for use in editing timelines, live broadcasts, or post-production delivery
  • Adapt and localize graphics for different platforms and formats (broadcast, web, social media)
  • Manage design file organization, project archiving, and version control
  • Stay current on design trends, video formatting standards, and motion design techniques
  • Work with tight deadlines and adjust quickly to creative feedback and revision cycles

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design, motion graphics, or visual branding within the film/media industry
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. Knowledge of Avid Media Composer as that is what we edit in.
  • Experience with motion design, kinetic typography, and video graphics for storytelling
  • Understanding of broadcast and cinematic formatting standards (aspect ratios, resolutions, frame rates, etc.)
  • Strong sense of visual composition, typography, color theory, and layout
  • Experience designing graphics for commercial, branded, or documentary content is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet production deadlines
  • Bonus: Experience with 3D animation software (Cinema 4D, Blender) or live broadcast graphics systems
