Position Purpose:
The Graphic Designer at Journey Church will be responsible for creating visually engaging materials for church events, services, and outreach efforts. They will work closely with the Creative Director and other teams to ensure a consistent and impactful visual identity that reflects the church's values and message.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute Graphic Design projects for the ministries within Journey Church
- Create and execute sermon series packages for the weekend experience alongside the Creative Director (Slides, LED panel art, lower thirds, social media graphics, YouTube thumbnails, etc.)
- Oversee formatting of graphics for different mediums
- Provide design and conceptualization for digital, video, and print production.
- Create collateral for a variety of projects including (but not limited to): social media, video, events, email, logos, web design, merchandise, handouts, brochures, other print material.
- Research and develop new and creative ideas to achieve maximum impact.
- Develop mood boards and look/feel for design projects
In coordination with the Communications Coordinator
- Create Lower Thirds for CAH Announcements and Close
- Create Bi-weekly designs for the Journey newsletter
- Create and execute Journey’s communication campaigns
In coordination with the Social Media Coordinator
- Create weekly content for Social Media channels
- Create graphics for Social Media campaigns associated with special events and holidays
- Assist with photography as needed.

Experience:
- Multiple year’s experience in ministry or church vocational work is preferred
- Experience in a multisite church
- Experience in organizing multiple projects and events
- Organized; flexible; able to Multitask
- Exemplary oral & written skills
