Graphic Design Internship — mille collines (Cape Town)

Are you a passionate, organised, and detail-oriented creative, ready to immerse yourself in the world of fashion, interior design, and storytelling?

mille collines is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our team and support the development of new designs and visual content across our digital platforms. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn within a collaborative and design-driven environment that celebrates contemporary African design.

What you’ll do

• Design original prints and patterns for textiles
• Assist in the process of product development
• Create digital assets for our website, emailers, and social media
• Support in producing newsletters and content for our online community
• Assist with layout design for presentations, look books, and brand documents

What we're looking for

• A strong eye for design and close attention to detail
• Enjoys working as part of a team, but also confident working independently
• Responsible, focused, and proactive
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (other softwares a plus)
• Organised and open to feedback
• Inspired by African fashion, interior design, and artisanal craft

Internship Details

• Duration: 6 months
• Commitment: 4 days per week
• Stiped: R4500 Net per month
• Location: Cape Town based (only candidates based in Cape Town will be considered)
