Graphic Design Assistant, SC1GRDSNPARTS (SU25)
Student Worker Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semesterΒ or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Β 
Assist Graphic Designer in the Performing Arts Department.

  • Assist the Graphic Designer with various design projects.
  • Help prepare design files and lay out copy for show programs.
  • Help maintain organized files and documentation for all design projects.
  • Other related duties, as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

    • Education
      • Some graphic design ability
      • THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
      • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
      • If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
      • If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
    • Experience
      • Proficient on Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
      • Ability to create and edit vector graphics and illustrations.
      • Attention to detail in all aspects of design work.
      • Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with the main designer and other team members.
      • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
    • Licenses and Certifications
      • COD Training
        • Compliance Training

      Working Conditions:

      Pay Rate: Student FY24 Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
