Leads the design team projects in conceptualizing designs, graphics and layouts to provide a clear and concise visual representation of campaigns and initiatives. Acts as design brand ambassador to maintain a consistent visual representation of the METRO brand across coordinated platforms. Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and safety procedures.
High school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications, Art, Design, Marketing, Advertising or related field is required.
Minimum seven (7) years graphic design experience executing complex projects and coordination of all production scheduling to completion. Experience leading graphic design projects is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of Macintosh, excellent PC, QuarkXPress, and InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and Microsoft Office applications. Advanced knowledge of printers and printing processes. Advanced typography skills, graphic design and layout skills. Strong communications (written and verbal) skills.
