A Day in the Life

The Graphic Designer is a creative design professional with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced marketing environment. They will work on a wide range of projects for our brand and multiple sub-brands with a strict adherence to guidelines. A large portion of the role will require the candidate to have the skills to create powerful and compelling presentations utilizing PowerPoint that make a direct impact on the viewer. Whether it’s for a sales team, a member of our leadership team, or for an internal audience, this role needs to be creative, understand our company brand, goals, and values, and can create our message to internal and external audiences. In addition, they will produce to-spec artwork for various media including but not limited to social media, digital advertising, infographics, and printed materials. They will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date archives of design projects and updating materials as needed. This role is expected to be a creative problem solver who can translate text and data into visual formats for consumer, b2b and internal facing projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding graphic design and technical skills, and display knowledge of the design process. They must have a strong ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to tight deadlines. They should be comfortable working independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team members across different areas of responsibility. Some travel may be required.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• This role will work closely with our Marketing Manager of Graphic/Web Design, Product Managers, Internal Stakeholders and occasionally with the CEO.
• Understand the latest PowerPoint trends and designs and can add visuals, charts, and graphics to create presentations that capture the audience’s attention
• Have experience creating PowerPoint presentations for clients in the financial industry or other related industries
• Ability to consistently uphold brand and style guidelines, and communicate and potentially teach these standards to others internally
• Brainstorm and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials to build brand awareness and drive growth.
• Support the production of marketing materials using various software programs to visualize and develop ideas.
• Assist in the creation of graphics and visuals within established brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on various internal/external marketing efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient and effective operation of the department and that help to make Lendistry the best place to work!  

Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise 

• High proficiency in design software: Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and PowerPoint
• Minimum of 1 year of professional PowerPoint presentation design experience (PowerPoint certification not required, but helpful)
• Tech-savvy (versed in MS Office, Outlook, Excel)
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, work on many projects simultaneously, and work in a team environment in a corporate setting
• Confident communicator, able to articulately express ideas in written and verbal form with individuals and groups at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 1+ years of related work experience.

COMPENSATION RANGE  

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $25.00-33.00 an Hour. 

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. 

 The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for new hires for the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors like job-related skills, experience, and state of residence.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the interview process.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting (approximately 95%), repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  It also may require occasional standing, lifting, carrying of 20lbs or less, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, and reaching above the shoulder.  Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
